Job summary

NXTPoint Logistics operates as a full-service 3PL provider and supports Johnson & Jhonson Vision Care facilities. You will be an employee of NXTPoint, but work on site at the Johnson & Jhonson facility in Jacksonville, FL.

The role emphasizes accurate receiving, storing, shipping, repackaging, and palletizing to meet sanitation, safety, security, and productivity standards. Essential duties include order picking, packing, handling damaged goods, counts, reporting shortages, loading/unloading,

Qualifications

• High school or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack (order picking and/or assembly of products in less than full case lots), light assembly and record storage.
• Repair and recoup damaged goods as required.
• Count all product, compare to manifest and check shipments for damage, infestation and dates.
• Report shortages, damages and miss-shipments on appropriate forms.
• Perform unload/load activities for shipments as necessary.
• Efficiently relocate, stack and store merchandise.
• Ensure that the correct number and type of product is picked.
• Transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with material handling equipment.
• Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed.
• Assist in physical inventories and cycle counts.
• Ensure proper stock rotation.
