Job Overview

As an employee of NXTPoint, you will work on site at the Johnson & Johnson facility. The major goal for this position is to accurately receive, store, ship, repack, and palletize product while meeting company standards for sanitation, safety, security, and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and assemble products in less than full case lots.
• Perform light assembly of mechanical or electrical components using hand tools.
• Repair or recoup damaged goods as required.
• Count products, compare to manifest, and check shipments for damage, infestation, and production code dates.
• Report shortages, damages, and miss‑shipments on appropriate forms.
• Unload and load shipments as necessary and relocate, stack, and store merchandise efficiently.
• Ensure correct number and type of product is picked and transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with material handling equipment.
• Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed.
• Assist in physical inventories and cycle counts and ensure proper stock rotation.

Qualifications

• High school or G.E.D. degree.
• One to three months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, including proficiency in material handling equipment and inventory procedures.
• Readiness to comply with all safety policies and report unsafe activities.
• Capability to provide leadership through example and sharing of knowledge.

Physical & Environmental Demands

• Work in indoor shop environment with adequate ventilation.
• Experience frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds unassisted and ability to climb ladders.
• Perform repetitive reach, twist, bend, and stoop movements, often standing and walking for extended periods.
• Work in job sites with potential vibration, inadequate illumination, or awkward spaces.

• Monday‑Friday, 10:00am–6:30pm
