The Wasserstrom Company in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a Material Handler/Cherry Picker Operator to load and unload shipments, pick and count items from racking, and operate motorized equipment in our distribution center.
Typical first shift starts at 4am or 11am, Monday–Friday with Saturdays required when needed. A high school diploma is required, and 50 lb lifting capability is expected. Forklift experience is preferred.

The Wasserstrom Company is the leading Food Service Distributor in the nation. Established in 1902, we are a family owned company with our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. We currently have a Material Handler position available in ourDistribution Center in Columbus, Ohio.
This position is responsible for loading and/or unloading product shipments from trucks to shipping/receiving platform, picking/put-away/counting product from/to racking in case or pallet quantities, utilizing RF scanner and/or pick label to verify item/quantity/location to pick and/or receive, and operating of multiple pieces of motorized equipment in a safe and proper manner. Wasserstrom offers first shift starting at 4am and 11am. Monday-Friday work schedule with Saturdays required when needed.
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. and the ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. 1 - 2 years previous forklift experience preferred but not required.
