Job summary

The Wasserstrom Company is seeking a Material Handler/Cherry Picker Operator with RF experience for our Dallas Distribution Center in Grand Prairie, TX. First shift 5:00 am–1:00 pm, Monday–Friday, with Saturdays when needed. Requires a high school diploma and ability to lift up to 50 pounds; 1–2 years forklift experience preferred.

On-site role with competitive benefits. Responsibilities include loading/unloading shipments, picking and counting products, and using RF scanners to verify items.

Qualifications

• RF scanner experience is required.
• 1–2 years forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload product shipments from trucks to shipping/receiving platform.
• Pick, put-away, and count product from/to racking in case or pallet quantities.
• Verify item/quantity/location using RF scanner and/or pick label.
• Operate motorized equipment safely and properly.

This position is responsible for loading and/or unloading product shipments from trucks to shipping/receiving platform, picking/put-away/counting product from/to racking in case or pallet quantities, utilizing RF scanner and/or pick label to verify item/quantity/location to pick and/or receive, and operatingof multiple pieces of motorized equipmentin asafe and propermanner. Wasserstrom offers first shift starting at 5:00 am-1:00 pm. Monday-Friday work schedule with Saturdays required when needed.

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. and the ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. 1 - 2 years previous forklift experience preferred but not required.2
