Job summary

MillerKnoll in Morganton, NC, is seeking a Material Handler/Backup CDL Driver to receive, store, move, and track materials in the warehouse and manufacturing facility. The role supports production flow and may serve as backup shuttle driver between Morganton and Hildebran facilities, with tractor-trailer duties as needed.

The position requires a Valid Class A CDL, forklift experience or certification preferred, strong math and inventory skills, and a commitment to safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED or relevant experience.
• Licenses/Certifications: Valid Class A CDL (CDL-A) and clean MVR; forklift certification preferred.
• Preferred: Warehouse, distribution, or logistics material handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, store, pull, stage, and transport materials in the facility.
• Load/unload materials using forklifts; maintain inventory accuracy.
• Deliver materials to production areas and support schedules.
• Perform cycle counts and maintain safe, organized warehouse.
• Operate tractor-trailer for shuttle between Morganton and Hildebran as needed.
• Complete required inspections and comply with DOT regulations.
