Job summary

MillerKnoll is hiring a Material Handler at our Morganton, NC warehouse to support safe and efficient material movement. The role offers a competitive hourly wage and benefits starting on your first day.

Responsibilities include receiving, staging, and moving materials; operating pallet jacks and forklifts; maintaining inventory accuracy; and supporting production schedules while following safety and 5S guidelines.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or GED or equivalent; prior material handling/warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification required.
• Basic math, counting, and attention to detail; ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and stage raw materials, components, and finished goods per procedures.
• Pull, deliver, and track parts to production areas to support schedules.
• Operate material handling equipment safely (pallet jacks, forklifts, carts).
• Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning, labeling, and documentation.
• Perform material transactions in the system for inventory control and traceability.
• Assist with cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and audits.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area per 5S guidelines.
• Cross-train in other warehouse or production support functions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
