Job summary

PPG Industries, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler to support operations at the Boeing site in Ridley Park, PA. You will manage material flow, inventory accuracy, and safe handling of materials in a manufacturing context.

The role requires a valid driver’s license (preferred), forklift certification, and basic computer skills. The position offers a 11:00am–7:30pm shift, Monday through Friday, with interviews conducted off site via phone or video.

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license preferred to operate waste truck.
Operate a golf cart daily.
Customer service skills preferred.
Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift license.
Should possess basic computer skills (QIA, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

Under direct supervision, handles and maintains flow of materials and products in manufacturing areas according to guidelines.
Breaks down incoming pallets and delivers materials to designated point-of-use cabinet locations.
Scans materials upon delivery to ensure accurate inventory tracking.
Rotates stock following FIFO principles.
Keeps cabinets clean and organized.
Monitors and replenishes bulk MRO materials daily.
Responsible for hazardous waste handling per safety regulations.
May operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment.
