Job summary

PPG in Ridley Park, PA, is seeking a Material Handler to support operations at the Boeing customer site. The role focuses on moving materials, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining accurate inventories. You will rotate stock FIFO, scan deliveries, and help keep work areas clean and safe.

This position may require forklift operation and occasional overtime. Starting pay is $23 per hour; shift is Mon–Fri, 11:00am–7:30pm; candidates must be able to obtain needed licenses and pass background

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license preferred to operate waste truck.
• Able to operate a golf cart daily.
• Customer service skills preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain forklift license.
• Basic computer skills (QIA, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Able to wear PPE with or without accommodation.
• Willing to work any shift and overtime as needed.
• Must be able to pull, push or lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, handles and maintains flow of materials and products in manufacturing areas.
• Breaks down incoming pallets and delivers materials to designated locations.
• Scans materials upon delivery to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Rotates stock following FIFO principles.
• Keeps cabinets clean and organized.
• Daily monitoring and replenishment of bulk MRO materials.
• Responsible for hazardous waste handling per safety regulations and site protocols.
• May operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment.
