Job summary

PPG is hiring a Material Handler at Ridley Park, PA, located at Boeing’s site. Starting pay is $23 per hour with a Monday–Friday shift from 11:00am to 7:30pm. Interviews will be phone or virtual, and responsibilities include handling material flow, inventory scanning, FIFO rotation, and safety compliance.

You may operate various material handling equipment and must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. A driver’s license is preferred, and forklift certification is required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license preferred to operate waste cart and forklift.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift license.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer skills (QA, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, handles and maintains flow of materials and products in manufacturing areas.
• Delivers materials from pallets to designated point-of-use locations.
• Scans materials on delivery for accurate inventory tracking.
• Rotates stock using FIFO principles.
• Keeps cabinets clean and organized.
• Monitors and replenishes bulk MRO materials daily.
• Shows proper PPE use and may operate material handling equipment.
