Pregis is hiring a Material Handler in Sussex, WI to support manufacturing by moving, storing, and tracking materials. You will ensure availability of raw materials and finished goods while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes accurate inventory movements, daily inspections, and adherence to procedures in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Forklift operation and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least six months of warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or material handling experience.
• Ability to safely operate or learn to operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsabilités

• Transport raw materials, finished products, and production supplies throughout the facility.
• Deliver materials to designated production and warehouse locations in a safe and timely manner.
• Load and unload materials from pallets, racks, shelving, and staging areas.
• Support production teams by maintaining material availability and workflow efficiency.
• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Utilize barcode scanners and inventory systems to accurately record inventory movements.
• Assist with cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory audits.
• Identify and communicate inventory discrepancies, labeling issues, or material shortages.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, and inventory accuracy

Position Summary

The Material Handler is responsible for the safe movement, storage, and tracking of raw materials, work-in-process inventory, and finished goods throughout the facility.
