Pregis is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to support manufacturing operations by ensuring materials are delivered accurately, safely, and efficiently throughout the facility in Sussex, WI. The role emphasizes safe movement of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods, with focus on accuracy and timely replenishment to support production.

Responsibilities include transporting materials, operating forklifts, performing inspections, and using inventory systems to keep accurate records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six months of warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or material handling experience.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory management systems.

Responsabilités

• Transport raw materials, finished products, and production supplies throughout the facility.
• Deliver materials to designated production and warehouse locations in a safe and timely manner.
• Load and unload materials from pallets, racks, shelving, and staging areas.
• Support production teams by maintaining material availability and workflow efficiency.
• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Utilize barcode scanners and inventory systems to accurately record inventory movements.
• Assist with cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory audits.
• Identify and communicate inventory discrepancies, labeling issues, or material shortages.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, and inventory accuracy.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED

Position Summary

The Material Handler is responsible for the safe movement, storage, and tracking of raw materials, work-in-process inventory, and finished goods throughout the facility. This position supports production operations by ensuring materials are available when needed, inventory transactions are completed accurately, and all work is performed in accordance with established safety and quality standards.
