Job summary

CNH Industrial is seeking an assembly associate for on-line operations in New Holland. You will assemble components and sub-assemblies according to engineering specs, verify quality, and maintain clean, safe work areas.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, aligning and fastening parts, recording defects, and moving materials as required. Prior forklift experience is preferred, and a high school diploma or GED is required.

• Apply, align, attach, insert, and fasten various commodities, components, parts, sub-assemblies, or units to chassis in required order and sequence.
• Work from Engineering specifications (work instructions), sketches, schematic diagrams, blueprints, process sheets, check sheets, photo books, and verbal instructions.
• Record defects that require off-line and on-line corrections. Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, excessive continuation of defective parts, improper function, and assembling to proper supervision or management.
• Visually check parts and entire assemblies for completeness, function, operation, and appearance.
• Move materials as necessary in the performance of duties.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations.

Job Purpose

• Work from Engineering specifications (work instructions), sketches, schematic diagrams, blueprints, process sheets, check sheets, photo books, and verbal instructions.
• Perform necessary adjustments as unit progresses down assembly line.
• Record defects that require off-line and on-line corrections. Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, excessive continuation of defective parts, improper function, and assembling to proper supervision or management.
• Visually check parts and entire assemblies for completeness, function, operation, and appearance.
• Assist in the development of assembly practices and procedures.
• Move materials as necessary in the performance of duties.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations.
• May perform touch-up or small repair work when assigned.

Experience Required

High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

Previous forklift experience preferred

Pay Transparency

The annual salary for this role is USD $25.80 - plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
