Job summary

BEL USA LLC is seeking a Material Handler to support the Production Department by pulling stock per work orders and staging for production. You will prepare shipments for non-imprint orders, handle inventory tagging, and maintain a clean, safe work space.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading materials, cycle counting, and accurate data entry in the system. Candidates should be able to follow safety procedures, wear PPE, and work well within a team to meet production timelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse environments preferred.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment.
• Attention to safety and cleanliness requirements.

Responsibilities

• Pull stock per printed work orders and stage for production.
• Prepare stock for shipments of non-imprint orders.
• Change and maintain inventory tags; perform cycle counts.
• Load/unload materials to/from trucks, pallets, racks, and vehicles.
• Ensure clean, organized work area and safe operations.
• Enter transactions in the computer system and follow production flow.
• Support Production Department and assist team as needed.

Job description

Must be able to foster BEL USA'S mission and core values to help drive the organization towards a more constructive culture and higher performance. In addition, the Material Handler must operate warehouse equipment to ensure the products are being delivered in a timely manner.

Essential Job Functions

• Pull stock in accordance with printed work orders and stage for production.
• Prepare stock for shipments of non-imprint orders.
• Change inventory tags and keep up-to-date.
• Maintain a constant work flow for the Production Department.
• Make sure that work area is maintained clean and clutter free.
• Follow safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment.
• Pulls product according to printed sample orders.
• Put stock away in appropriate warehouse locations.
• Packages samples and materials for shipping to customers, trade shows, etc.
• Responsible for inventory counts of samples in stock and requisitioning replacements from Production Planning.
• Properly labels samples with designated hangtag label for proper identification of sample.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area including performing general housekeeping duties i.e. sweeping, etc.
• Loads and unloads materials to and from trucks, pallets, racks and vehicles.
• Performs cycle counting. Identifies and reports inventory record errors.
• Reads Sales/Work orders, etc to determine items to be picked and moved to appropriate production areas.
• Enters Sales/Work orders, transfers, and scrap replacement transactions in the computer system.
• Reliable, regular attendance is essential.
• Supports teamwork through active participation and/or by helping team ideas work.
• Performs duties safely and in accordance with Company safety policies.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.

Internal Application Eligibility Requirements

• Employees must be in their current position for at least six (6) months before being eligible to apply to an open position.
