Job summary

BEL USA LLC is seeking an Order Picker to support our warehouse operations in Miami, FL. The role requires accurate picking, safe handling of equipment, and timely processing of orders to meet delivery deadlines.

You will use tablets and RF devices, operate a cherry picker when required, and collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, efficient, and safe workspace while following company safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience as an Order Picker or similar warehouse role preferred.
• Experience or license in handling forklifts, pallets jacks, and warehouse equipment is highly preferred.
• English/Spanish bilingual abilities preferred; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check incoming pick tickets.
• Locate products using tablets and RF devices.
• Operate a cherry picker to retrieve orders and ensure accuracy.
• Use basic math to determine number of boxes and quantities.
• Build pallets and position them for warehouse delivery.
• Stock returned inventory and maintain equipment; report malfunctions.
• Ensure cherry picker is charged at end of shift and perform housekeeping duties.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and support team ideas.

Job description

Must be able to foster BEL USA'S mission and core values to help drive the organization towards a more constructive culture and higher performance. In addition, the Order Picker will operate a cherry picker to build and send appropriate orders and ensure the accurate and timely delivery of products.

Essential Job Functions

(The reason this job exists is to perform these functions. These functions are performed regularly, seriously impacts other jobs, and there are a limited number of employees whom performance of the function can be distributed.)

• Receive and check incoming pick tickets
• Locate products using our tablets
• Operate a cherry picker to retrieve orders according to quantity, size etc. ensuring accuracy
• Utilize basic math skills to accurately determine the number of boxes to be retrieved, considering both the order size and the quantity of items in each box
• Build pallets with orders and position them in warehouse delivery station
• Stock returned inventory using cherry picker
• Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions
• Ensure cherry picker is charging at the end of each shift
• Perform cycle counting, when necessary
• Maintain a clean and organized work area including performing general housekeeping duties i.e. sweeping, etc.
• Supports teamwork through active participation and/or by helping team ideas work
• Reliable, regular attendance is essential
• Performs duties safely and in accordance with Company safety policies
• Other duties and special projects as assigned by Manager or Supervisor

Education/Certification

High school diploma or equivalent, preferred

Experience/Knowledge Required

• Previous experience as an Order Picker or other warehouse position, preferred
• Experience or license in handling forklifts, pallets jacks, and other warehouse equipment, highly preferred
• Experience in voice picking systems or RF devices, preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish), preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize workload in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines
• Great attention to detail
• Diligent and punctual
• Good physical strength and stamina

Internal Application Eligibility Requirements

• Employees must be in their current position for at least six (6) months before being eligible to apply to an open position.
