Job summary

ams OSRAM Group is seeking a Material Handler for the 3rd shift to perform complex material handling tasks, shipping/receiving, and proper storage. The role requires lift truck operation, accurate paperwork, and adherence to inventory procedures.

You will interact with drivers and internal teams, ensuring timely, accurate transfers and documentation. Competitive benefits and varied shifts support work-life balance.

• Must successfully pass Industrial lift physical & drug test.
• Must hold a valid lift operation license/certification.
• Must be well organized, detail oriented, and time oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex tasks in handling materials.
• Ship and receive materials.
• Store materials properly and issue/return materials; prepare paperwork and labels for shipments.
• Verify receipt of product to stores location and complete verifications in computerized systems.
• Conduct inventory and cycle counts; follow packing slip and delivery procedures.
• Operate a lift truck to transport goods; work under time constraints with multitasking.
• Interact daily with internal/external associates and truck drivers.

Your new responsibilities

Job Description:

Responsible for performing complex tasks involved in the handling of materials.

Shipping and receiving materials.

Storing materials properly in designated areas, following instructions to issue/return materials, returning rejected materials, prepares merchandise for transfer, arranges for pick-ups, loads/unloads of trucks and prepares paperwork and labels for shipments.

Verifies receipt of product to stores location, store to store transfers, return authorization requests, and completes/verifies computerized transactions.

Conducts inventory/cycle counts procedures and can follow packing slip and delivery procedures.

Operates a lift truck to transport goods and material throughout the facility, must have the ability to work under time constraints, multi-tasking and prioritization skills are necessary.

Also Interacts with internal/external associates and truck drivers/delivery personnel daily.
