Job summary

OSRAM SYLVANIA Inc. is seeking a materials handler at the Hillsboro site to perform complex tasks in materials handling, shipping, and receiving. You will store materials, issue and return items, and prepare shipments with proper paperwork.

Responsibilities include inventory counts, operating a lift truck, and coordinating with drivers and internal teams. The role emphasizes organization, time management, safety, and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must pass Industrial lift Physical & Drug Test.
• Must maintain a valid lift operation license/certification.
• Must be well organized, detail oriented, and time oriented.

Responsibilities

• Handle materials and perform complex tasks in materials handling.
• Ship and receive materials and verify shipments.
• Store materials properly and issue/return materials as instructed.
• Prepare merchandise for transfer and arrange pickups; load/unload trucks.
• Prepare paperwork and labels for shipments; verify product receipts.
• Perform inventory/cycle counts and follow packing slip procedures.
• Operate a lift truck to transport goods within the facility under time constraints.
• Interact daily with internal/external associates and drivers.

Your new responsibilities

Job Description:

Responsible for performing complex tasks involved in the handling of materials.

Shipping and receiving materials.

Storing materials properly in designated areas, following instructions to issue/return materials, returning rejected materials, prepares merchandise for transfer, arranges for pick-ups, loads/unloads of trucks and prepares paperwork and labels for shipments.

Verifies receipt of product to stores location, store to store transfers, return authorization requests, and completes/verifies computerized transactions.

Conducts inventory/cycle counts procedures and can follow packing slip and delivery procedures.

Operates a lift truck to transport goods and material throughout the facility, must have the ability to work under time constraints, multi-tasking and prioritization skills are necessary.

Also Interacts with internal/external associates and truck drivers/delivery personnel daily.
