Job summary

Liberty Hardware is seeking a Material Handler for Shift 2 to efficiently pick items, label cartons, and stack pallets in a fast-paced warehouse in the United States. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork, with training available for RF scanning and equipment operation.

Starting pay is $16.50 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential, totaling $17.50 per hour, with hours Monday through Thursday, 3:30pm to 2:00am.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Willingness to learn and operate RF scanner and palletizing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Picks product from assigned locations based on information in WMS or pick ticket.
• Attaches labels to cartons.
• Places conveyable cartons on conveyor belt.
• Pulls non-conveyable cartons offline.
• Stacks cartons on pallets and prepares for next wave.
• Cleans work areas daily and keeps locations neat and safe.
• Unloads cartons using powered conveyors and stacks on pallets.
• Demonstrates safe working practices in all tasks.
• May train new staff and participate in continuous improvement activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Picks product from assigned locations based on information provided in WMS or pick ticket
• Appropriately attaches labels to cartons
• Places conveyable cartons on conveyor belt
• Pulls non-conveyable cartons offline via pick ticket
• Stacks cartons on appropriate pallet and places pallet out for next wave
• Cleans pick module/work areas on daily basis; keeps picking locations neat, orderly and safe
• Unloads cartons from containers using powered conveyor and stacks cartons on appropriate pallet
• Demonstrates safe working practices in all facets of work
• May train new or less experienced staff members
• Demonstrates a Continuous Improvement mindset through participation in events and activities that lead to financial gain, time savings, and/or waste reduction for the company
• And any other duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by our Values.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, bend, stand, and rotational standing and bending; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently grab, lift, carry, stack, and/or move materials and product weighing up to 40 pounds. Occasionally is required to climb up to 2 flights of 10-inch stairs. Employee may operate wrapping machine, powered industrial equipment, and RF scanner.
