Responsibilities

2. Operate a forklift or other equipment to transport materials within the facility.
3. Develop a good knowledge of the company and may be assigned to projects for career development.
4. Learn the principles, practices, and processes in the function or discipline.
5. Develop the business knowledge required for the full job.
6. Resolve problems with assistance from peers or supervisor depending on the level and complexity.
7. Follow defined procedures and practices.
8. Maintain contact with immediate supervisor and team members.
9. Support different products and areas to meet business needs.
10. Perform forklift daily inspections.
11. Accept responsibility for own actions and follow through on commitments.

Physical Demands

Regular talking, hearing, and manual manipulation are required. Standing, walking, and occasional stooping, bending, or reaching are necessary. The employee must occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. The job involves computer work, requiring periods of sitting, close vision, and focus adjustment. Occasional travel may be required.
