Job Summary:

At Richelieu Foods we make Great Food from Great People. We are looking for a 2nd Shift Material Handler:

Essential Functions:

· Transport all needed supplies correctly and on time to required line or pre-batch area.

· Communicate with internal customers to determine proper quantities and placement of items needed.

· Responsible for complying with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), maintaining proper sanitation and housekeeping in area.

· Properly put away any warehouse loads.

· Communicate and coordinate with other Material Handlers to ensure efficient operation of the department.

· Inform proper departments or supervisors of any issues or concerns.

· Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

· Create and Receive TOP’s \ POP’s if needed.

· Schedule appointments \ answer emails and phone calls.

Basic Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or GED required.

· 2 Years of consistent and safe forklift operation on a stand-up forklift.

· The ability to read and understand Line schedules and material needs.

· Positive attendance record.

· Safe operation of stand-up and sit-down fork truck.

· Basic computer skills.

Desired Qualifications:

· Previous experience in a warehouse environment is a plus.

· Previous experience in shipping and receiving is a plus.

· Ability to work cooperatively and maintain a professional working relationship with co-workers.

· Good interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written required.

· Good organizational skills required.
