DSV Air & Sea Inc. in Canal Winchester, OH is seeking a Material Handler for 1st shift (Mon-Thu: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM). You will load/unload freight, maintain inventory, and ensure safe, efficient dock operations.

The role requires basic forklift and computer operation, familiarity with freight coding, and ability to lift up to 50+ lbs. OSHA knowledge is preferred; experience 1–3 years is typical.

Qualifikationen

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Generally prefer 1–3 years of experience.
Must be familiar with OSHA regulations.
Must be able to read, decode, and decipher freight coding.
Physical requirements include lifting up to 50+ lbs.

Aufgaben

Load inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers.
Unload inbound and outbound containers and sort by size and destination.
Read, decode, and decipher freight coding to expedite movement.
Reconcile driver pick up and delivery manifests.
Label, weigh, and dimensionalize freight.
Perform cleanup to keep a safe and clean dock area.
Record damaged shipments and misrouted freight on reports.
Maintain inventory, rotation and inspection of warehouse freight.
Complete required documentation and other duties as needed.
Maintain a safe working environment and communicate with customers.
