Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Generally prefer 1–3 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Must be familiar with OSHA regulations.
• Able to operate equipment such as a forklift and a computer.
• Strong organizational, inventory and accounting skills.
• Able to read, decode, and decipher freight coding.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 50+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Load inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers.
• Unload inbound and outbound containers and sort by size and destination.
• Read, decode, and decipher freight coding to expedite movement and tracing.
• Reconcile driver pickup and delivery manifests.
• Label, weigh, and dimension freight.
• Maintain inventory, rotation and inspection of warehouse freight.
• Complete required documentation and other duties as needed.
• Maintain safe working environment.
