Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of experience preferred.
• Must be familiar with OSHA regulations and able to operate forklift and computer.
• Ability to read, decode, and decipher freight coding.

Responsibilities

• Load inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers.
• Unload inbound and outbound containers and sort by size and destination.
• Read, decode, and decipher freight coding for expedited movement and tracing.
• Reconcile driver pickup and delivery manifests.
• Label, weigh, and dimension freight.
• Maintain safe and clean dock area; follow safety procedures.
• Record damaged shipments and misrouted freight on reports.
• Maintain inventory, rotation, and inspection of warehouse freight.
• Complete required documentation and other duties as needed.
• Communicate with internal and external customers regarding storage and service.
