Job summary

Exmark, a Beatrice, Nebraska division of The Toro Company, seeks a dedicated stock/parts associate to manage inventory in purchased parts markets and support lean initiatives. You will handle PFEP-aligned layouts, 5S standards, and daily KPI updates.

You will work on Kanban workflows, assist with process changes, operate mobile equipment, and contribute to a safe, efficient work environment. Forklift proficiency and strong communication are valued.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating with others
• High attention to organization and detail
• Working knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to create and follow standard work and procedures
• Previous forklift experience and/or ability to become forklift certified
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
• Ability to lift/move up to 10 pounds regularly; 25 pounds frequently; 40 pounds occasionally

Responsibilities

• Create and execute visual management of inventory levels in purchased parts markets
• Communicate potential shortages to cycle counters and/or material coordinators
• Ensure purchased part markets conform to the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) plan layout
• Develop and maintain 5S standards for parts markets – assist with updating standard work, training to standard work, and auditing when appropriate
• Update market metric boards on a daily basis
• Create and support all process changes to purchased parts markets – new parts, stock utilization, identifying obsolete parts
• Perform Kanban card audits
• Assist with physical layout and implementation of purchased parts markets
• Material handle purchased parts as needed using mobile equipment
• Perform all duties and responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner
• Identify and apply Lean methodologies to ensure processes are scientifically controlled and continuously improved
• Willingly performs other duties as assigned by supervisor

What Will You Do?
