Job summary

Exmark, a division of The Toro Company, located in Beatrice, Nebraska, seeks an inventory/parts operations associate for the 2nd shift. You will manage visual inventory, communicate shortages, and maintain PFEP conformance while upholding 5S standards.

Requires independence, strong organization, MS Office skills, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Forklift experience preferred; benefits included. Join a team focused on lean practice and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to create and follow standard work procedures.
• Forklift experience or ability to obtain certification.
• Clear verbal and written communication.
• HS diploma preferred but not required.
• Lift/move up to 10 lb regularly; 25 lb frequently; 40 lb occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute visual management of inventory levels in purchased parts markets
• Communicate potential shortages to cycle counters and/or material coordinators
• Ensure purchased part markets are conforming to the PFEP plan layout
• Develop and maintain 5S standards for parts markets – assist with updating standard work, training to standard work, and auditing when appropriate
• Update market metric boards on a daily basis
• Create and support all process changes to purchased parts markets – new parts, stock utilization, identifying obsolete parts
• Perform Kanban card audits
• Assist with physical layout and implementation of purchased parts markets
• Material handle purchased parts as needed using mobile equipment
• Perform all duties and responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner
• Identify and apply Lean methodologies to ensure processes are scientifically controlled and continuously improved
• Willingly perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Pay

$22.97 + Shift diff $2.00 + Lead diff $2.00 = $26.97

What Will You Do?

• Create and execute visual management of inventory levels in purchased parts markets

What Do You Need?

• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while additional ability to work well with others in a collaborative manner
• High attention to organization and detail
• Working knowledge of all MS Office applications preferred (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to create and follow standard work and procedures
• Previous forklift experience and/or ability to become forklift certified
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
• Ability to lift/move up to 10 pounds regularly; 25 pounds frequently; 40 pounds occasionally
