Exmark Manufacturing, a division of The Toro Company, is seeking a Material Handler in Beatrice, NE. 1st shift from 6 AM to 2 PM. Starting pay $22.24 per hour.
You will maintain inventory, operate a stand-on forklift, load and unload materials, and record part numbers and locations using the onboard terminal. You will participate in 5S and Lean improvements, help optimize production readiness, and contribute to a safe, clean working environment.

In order to grow and build a successful career with Exmark, you will be responsible for: Maintaining inventory by identifying and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory with onboard computer terminal Operating a stand-on forklift to move all parts, finished goods, and deliveries Loading and unloading materials onto or from pallets, racks, and shelves by hand or with lifting device Recording part numbers, quantities, locations, and/or serial numbers of finished inventory being moved with onboard computer terminal Performing visual check on all parts to ensure quality standards are met Operating electric or pneumatic hoist to set heavier painted parts on carts in advance of assembly Using pallet jack or forklift to move parts to storage areas Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, regulations, and active participation in all 5S efforts and initiatives Performing daily inspections of equipment within area of responsibility to insure all equipment is in safe working order Striving to meet all established safety, quality, cost, and productivity standards Continually seekin to improve production methods, equipment performance and overall quality of product Ability to learn a variety of different product lines Identify and apply Lean methodologies to ensure processes are scientifically controlled and continuously improved Willingly performs other duties as assigned by supervisor

Ability to follow standard work and procedures Good communication skills (verbal and written) High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required Ability to lift/move up to 10 pounds regularly; 25 pounds frequently; 40 pounds occasionally
