Job summary

Exmark, located in Beatrice, Nebraska, is seeking candidates for an assembly-related role on 1st shift from 6:00am to 2:00pm. The position pays $20.22 per hour and requires a high school diploma or equivalent with the ability to operate electric and pneumatic tools.

You will study standard work instructions, gather parts, and assemble components while maintaining safety and quality standards and participating in 5S initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Some technical knowledge and ability to follow standard work and procedures.
• Ability in using tools (electric and pneumatic) and/or machines.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Prepares work to be accomplished by studying standard work instructions, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Positions parts in specified relationship to each other using general knowledge of product and/or using bills of materials.
• Bolts, screws, clips or otherwise fastens parts together using a variety of hand tools (electric and pneumatic).
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, regulations, and active participation in all 5S efforts and initiatives.
• Maintains all equipment and tools in good working condition by performing daily pre-shift inspections.
• Strives to meet all established safety, quality, cost, and productivity standards.
• Continually seeks to improve production methods, equipment performance and overall quality of product.
• Ability to learn a variety of different assembly stations.
• Identify and apply Lean methodologies to ensure processes are scientifically controlled and continuously improved.
• Willingly performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
