Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in Stanfield, NC is hiring a Material Handler for the 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6am-2pm) at $18.64/hr. You’ll maintain component inventories in storage and ERP/MRP, supply parts to the production floor, and keep work areas clean and organized.

Responsibilities include coordinating material flow, operating a forklift, performing lifting and bending, and pursuing PIV certification. OT and Saturdays may be required; candidates typically have 1–2 years of experience and basic

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of experience preferred.
• Fork truck certification required.
• Proficient in Windows and MS Office.
• Strong math and filing skills.
• Knowledge of MRP systems.
• Familiarity with safety and quality processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all component inventories in storage locations and MRP system.
• Supply components to productive floor based on customer demand.
• Keep areas of responsibility up to facility housekeeping standards.
• Coordinate the distribution of raw materials and finished components to their designated areas for completion of processes.
• Run floor scrubbers
• Perform moderate to heavy lifting and bending.
• Become a certified PIV operator
• Work OT as needed, Saturdays included.
