Job summary

Kindeva is seeking a Material Handler to receive, store, issue, and ship materials, operate forklifts, and drive company trucks to internal customers. You will maintain inventory records, stage requisitions, load/unload, perform cycle counts, and support process improvements in a hands-on warehouse environment.

A valid driver’s license and the ability to pass screenings are required; 1–2 years of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or Associate degree required.
  • 1–2 years related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and be able to obtain Missouri Class E or higher before start date.
  • Must pass a drug and alcohol screening and job fitness physical.
  • Must pass and maintain controlled substance clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Receive all materials into the warehouse and attach labels.
  • Stage requisitions and relocate material to staging area.
  • Load and unload materials to/from Production Centers and trucks.
  • Maintain inventory records in manual/computer system.
  • Transfer materials to/from Production and Warehouse areas as required.
  • Deliver materials to facilities with company truck or van.
  • Perform cycle counts of inventory.
  • Perform housekeeping duties and participate in process improvements.

The Impact You Will Make

Performs normal warehousing functions (receiving, handling, storing, issuing, and delivering customer orders, operating forklifts and other material handling equipment and preparing finished product for external shipment) and operates the company truck in the delivery of product to internal customers.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Receives all materials into the warehouse (checks for damages prior to receiving) and attaches identification labels to materials and marks information on boxes as required, enters receipts into logbooks/computer, as required.
  • Stages requisitions, attaches labels, and hang tags and relocates material to designated staging area.
  • Loads and unloads material to and from Production Centers.
  • Maintains all inventory records on manual/computer system.
  • Loads and unloads materials onto or from trucks, pallets, racks, and shelves by hand or with a forklift and/or other material handling equipment.
  • Lifts heavy objects by hand, dolly, forklift, manual and/or electric pallet jack.
  • Loads materials into company vehicles and secures to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
  • Transfers materials to/from Production and Warehouse(s) areas, as required.
  • Operates company truck to deliver and pickup product from production and/or intra-state transportation of materials and equipment.
  • Prepares material and finished product (including palletizing, wrapping, and banding) for shipment to customers via UPS, FedEx, common carrier, etc. together when necessary.
  • Returns material to stock and makes appropriate inventory entries.12. Performs cycle counts of inventory, as required.
  • Have company vehicle serviced as needed.
  • Deliver materials to various MMT facilities with company truck or van.
  • Perform appropriate housekeeping duties.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Participate in process improvement activities.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or associate degree is required.
  • 1-2 years related experience and/or training as a material handler preferred.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and be able to obtain (Missouri Class E, Illinois Class C) or higher prior to start date.
  • Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screening and job fitness physical.
  • Must be able to pass and maintain controlled substance clearance once employed.
