Job summary

RRD, a leading global provider of marketing, packaging, print, and supply chain solutions, seeks a Warehouse Associate in West Bend, Wisconsin. You will lay up, stock, move, and prepare materials for bindery and mailing operations, and help ensure accurate tracking and on-time shipping.

The role requires basic equipment use, safety awareness, and attentiveness to stock codes and labeling. We offer day and mid shifts with overtime potential in a collaborative, equal-opportunity environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to stock, move, arrange, and rotate items per operating instructions
• Ability to complete forms for stock description, quantity, and labeling for incoming/outgoing materials
• Proficient with shrink-wrap, strapping equipment, pallet jacks, hand trucks and related material handling tools
• Knowledge of general warehouse layout, item codes, and standard storage procedures
• May require experience operating forklift truck

Responsibilities

• Lay up, feed or pile down materials at equipment
• Jog product off counter stacker; stack neatly on skid for smooth bindery or mailing operations
• Complete skid flags and packaging slips for accurate tracking
• Install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting in transit
• Attach labels and mark information on cases, bales, or containers
• Stack or bundle materials using banding machine and clincher
• Operate basic equipment and, occasionally, forklift to move materials

Job Description

Compensation

$16.00/hr - $18.00/hr

Available Shifts

Day Shift: 5:00AM to 3:00 PM Monday-Thursday

Mid Shift: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM Monday -Thursday

• Mid Shift Differential: $1/hr

Job Duties

• Responsible for laying up, feeding or piling down materials at equipment
• Jog product off counter stacker and stack neatly on skid to assure good running in bindery or mailing department
• Complete skid flags and packaging slips to ensure accurate tracking
• Install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit, using hand tools
• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers
• Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together, using banding machine and clincher.
• May use automated equipment and/or occasionally operate industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products

Qualifications

• Able to stock, move, arrange, and rotate items in accordance with operating instructions
• Able to complete appropriate forms relating to stock description, quantity, unit of issue, and the labeling requirements for incoming and outgoing materials
• Good skill in the use of shrink-wrap and strapping equipment, powered lift equipment, pallet jacks, manual dollies, carts or hand trucks and hand tools used in material handling tasks such as hammers, pliers, strapping and stretch wrapping tools and equipment, tape fasteners, metal band sheers and related equipment
• Good knowledge of general warehouse layout, item identification codes, basic warehouse procedures, and the storage areas in order to be able to place or pull paper stock, signatures and materials in accordance with standard procedures
• May require experience in operating/using forklift truck.
