Objective: To transfer material manually by hand, using a manual pallet jack, or with a lifting device attached to a hoist, as specified in the standard work. Operate sit-down, stand-up, and high-reach lifts.

Role & Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

• Unload and stack materials using a hoist-attached lifting device.
• Load or unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, or lifting devices manually as needed.
• Manually load parts from racks, tubs, and bins in the warehouse to trays or rack kit carts.
• Follow designated routes through the department to load kit carts.
• Load and unload parts manually from the paint line.
• Perform safety checks on necessary equipment.
• Work safely and efficiently in compliance with safety rules and regulations.
• Use electronic scanners to transact material as required.

Other Duties:

• Maintain clean and orderly aisles.
• Assist in training and instructing others as requested by the supervisor.
• Perform preventative maintenance and other duties as directed by Total Production Maintenance.
• Perform additional non-essential duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Ability to follow established methods and procedures, working efficiently under time pressure for extended periods.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 0-2 years.
• Effective communication skills in both written and verbal forms, typically acquired through high school education or equivalent.
• Travel requirement: Less than 10%.
