General Purpose

The general purpose of a material handler is to move, store, and manage materials within a warehouse environment. They are responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of products, from receiving shipments to preparing goods for shipping.

Essential Functions

Individuals with Material Handling skills receive, store, and pull raw and finished goods through the facility in a safe, accurate, and timely manner, along with proper part tracking. The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible. Cross-training in other departments to learn additional functions is required. Solves problems with the assistance of other team members and seeks continuous improvement.

Education/Experience
