Job summary

Kids for the Future in Hartwell, GA is seeking a dependable warehouse associate to distribute parts and materials to the production line on 1st shift. 1st Shift Begins at 7 am and this position operates in a NON-AC warehouse.

Responsibilities include forklift operation, receiving, cycle counts, labeling, and keeping the workspace clean and organized; must lift up to 70 pounds and handle crates and pallets safely to support daily production.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Excel and Bartender will be used to make labels for product and crates.
• Basic knowledge of the metric system, computer and the ICIM program.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds required.

Responsibilities

• Distribute parts and material to line in as requested.
• Assist in physical receiving per supervisor request.
• Assist in cycle counts and bagging.
• Process material request forms in ICIM. Check for accurate transfer of qty and location.
• Operate forklift as needed.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Including crates and location labels, plus sweeping the warehouse floor area.
• Put away & transfer offsite stock, once staged in warehouse. Stack small boxes neatly in crates.
• Listen for receiving bell and assist with offloading pallet truck.
• Put away all receiving that has green cones before end of shift.
• Assist with punching plates in kitting when slow.
• At start of shift, make sure any forklifts you are not using are put on charge before starting work.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Distribute parts and material to line in as requested.
• Assist in physical receiving per supervisor request.
• Assist in cycle counts and bagging.
• Process material request forms in ICIM. Check for accurate transfer of qty and location.
• Operate forklift as needed.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Including crates and location labels, plus sweeping the warehouse floor area.
• Put away & transfer offsite stock, once staged in warehouse. Stack small boxes neatly in crates.

• Your job responsibilities are not to assess what other shifts have done. Your job is to do what's in-front of you for the day and make sure all product with green cones is put away.
• At start of shift, make sure any forklifts you are not using are put on charge before starting work.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide back up for the inventory controls specialist and assist in Kitting when slow.
