Job summary

Generac in Wisconsin is seeking a Material Handler to support production by picking warehoused parts and delivering to assembly areas. You will work with production lines to maximize efficiency, safety, quality, and productivity.

Typical duties include operating a forklift, following procedures, and assisting in training. Candidates should have 0–1 year of experience and strong teamwork and communication.

• Operate a forklift or other equipment to transport materials within the facility.
• Developing a good knowledge of the company and may be assigned to projects for career development.

• Developing the business knowledge required for the full job.
• May resolve problems with assistance from peers or supervisor depending on the level and complexity.
• Follows defined procedures and practices.
• Contacts are typically with immediate supervisor and other members of the team in the immediate organization.
• Flex across different products and areas to support business needs.
• Perform forklift daily inspections.
• Accepts responsibility for own actions, follows through on commitments. Participate in team meetings and exchange job related information.
• Demonstrates attention to detail, attendance, and quality.
• Perform safe and effective operation of all equipment needed to perform job function.
• Practice safe working habits, following safety guidelines to operation and support of company initiatives.

Shift Hours - 5:30am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday.

Overtime Hours - Fridays - 5:30am - 1:30pm, as required.

Pay Rate: $18.10/hour
