Job description

Full‑Time 1st Shift Material Handler

Location: Knoxville, Tennessee.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:30 am – 3:00 pm. Peak days (4–5 days per month) start at 4:30 am.

* This position does not operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Move inventory materials to and from storage locations to support shipping and distribution.
• Keep accurate counts of stock and supplies.
• Maintain clean, hazard‑free areas within the packing and truck dock zones.
• Load customers' orders onto correct pallets and trailers at the dock.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. regularly and consistently during the shift.
• Ability to pull, stretch, bend, and lift material regularly and consistently during the shift.
• Good written and verbal communication skills across all levels within the organization.
• Ability to read, write, and follow established operational procedures.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) required.
• Ability to perform in a fast‑paced environment for the duration of the shift while maintaining safety and quality.
