Job summary

Superior Oil Company is seeking a 3rd Shift Material Handler in Old Hickory, TN to receive, label, stock materials and support orderly warehouse operations. The role includes pulling orders, preparing shipments, stocking materials, inventory counts, and ensuring accurate records for nightly production goals.

The job emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to procedures, with the added benefit of paid training and strong safety culture within a 3rd shift environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong safety mindset is required.
• Forklift certification provided or training will be provided.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with teammates.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, label, and stock incoming materials.
• Pull orders and prepare shipments.
• Support production by preparing totes, testing equipment, and staging materials.
• Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory records.
• Follow safety policies and report issues to leadership.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe, including operating cleaning equipment.
• Complete maintenance work orders and required documentation.
• Meet daily production, shipping, and warehouse goals.

What We’re Looking For

We are currently seeking a 3rd ShiftMaterial Handlerat ourOld Hickory, TNlocation.

Schedule

• Full-time, 3 rd Shift
• Sunday - Thursday, 10 p.m. – 6:30 a.m. with additional hours as needed
• Pay: Base hourly rate + $2.00 per hour for all hours worked on 3rd shift

What You’ll Do

• Receive, unload, label, and stock incoming materials and warehouse transfers.
• Pull orders and prepare shipments for next-day deliveries.
• Support production by preparing totes, testing equipment, and staging materials.
• Perform cycle counts and help maintain accurate inventory records.
• Investigate and report inventory discrepancies.
• Complete assigned maintenance work orders and required documentation.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe, including operating cleaning equipment.
• Complete required safety checks, inspections, and compliance tasks.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Report equipment problems, inventory issues, and safety concerns to leadership.
• Work with the team to meet daily production, shipping, and warehouse goals.
• Other duties as assigned.

Candidates Should Possess

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong safety mindset
• Forklift certification (training is provided)
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to work with co-workers.
