Perform kitting, material handling, and presentation of parts to production operators at designated point‑of‑use locations. Execute inventory and material control tasks, including proper material packaging and issuing material based on parts lists. Operate forklifts, dollies, and other equipment to transport material within the factory. Determine proper material storage locations, primarily in line‑flow staging and point‑of‑use areas. Coordinate and monitor material availability to support workflow; assist with scheduling and prioritizing activities in assigned areas. Expedite material as needed to ensure continuous production flow. Perform physical and cycle counts; investigate and resolve inconsistencies. Identify process issues or delays and communicate effectively with leadership. Maintain records accurately and ensure work correctness. Follow all operating procedures, safety requirements, and environmental regulations. Perform other duties as assigned to maintain product flow. Work shift hours of 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g., G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. Experience with either material handling, manufacturing, or operations. U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract. Valid state driver’s license. Minimum 1 year experience operating forklifts, dollies, and other equipment to transport material within a factory.
Analytical and interactive skills; computer literacy is prefer. Proficiency with inventory systems and basic computer applications (MS Office and SAP). Ability to understand and follow written instructions. Ability to function effectively in a fast‑paced environment. Customer‑focused, well organized, and capable of multitasking. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide status updates as needed. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and perform physical activities such as standing, sitting, walking, bending, and stooping for extended periods. Able to work in hot and cold working conditions as required.
