Join to apply for the Material Handler 1st Shift role at Box-Board Products.

This individual is responsible for pulling orders, loading trucks, and checking for quality and accuracy while ensuring that special instructions are followed.

Schedule: 5:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, some Saturdays required.

Responsibilities:

• Pull orders as on pick ticket, ensuring special instructions are being followed.
• Properly stage orders in staging area; depending on size, load directly onto trailers.
• Check all work for quality and accuracy.
• Load trucks ensuring accuracy and proper load stability.
• Operate forklift safely and efficiently, maintaining equipment and avoiding damage.
• Ensure correct loading and signing of bills of lading at the pickup counter.
• Process UPS shipments correctly.
• Serve as backup to pallet associate.
• Perform preventive maintenance on forklift and report issues.
• Report safety, quality, and equipment issues.
• Maintain good warehouse housekeeping.
• Communicate positively with team members.
• Follow all company policies and GMPs.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• CDL required.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• At least 2 years forklift operation experience preferred.
• Complete BBP forklift certification and maintain license.
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English.
• Ability to travel stairs frequently.
• Teamwork and cooperation skills.
