Position: Material Handler 1

Location: Jefferson, TX

Pay Rate: $19.87 /HR

Shift: 1st Shift, 7a-3p with OT

Job Summary:

We are looking for dependable, hard-working individuals to join our team of Material Handlers on 1st shift at our Jefferson Wood Reels facility.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Move material between manufacturing areas, to and from storage areas
2. Work safely around moving equipment and vehicles
3. Use hoists, cranes, or other lifting devices as needed
4. Organize and maintain an orderly work area
5. Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

1. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally move up to 200 pounds or more with a dolly/hand truck
2. Previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred
3. Must be able to read/write and interpret documents in English
4. Able to perform a variety of clerical functions and do basic math
5. Strong communication skills and positive attitude
6. Reliable transportation to and from the plant each day
7. Ability to work overtime as requested (both during the week and on call)
8. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and ability to use computers
