Position: Material Handler 1
Location: Jefferson, TX
Pay Rate: $19.87 /HR
Shift: 1st Shift, 7a-3p with OT
Job Summary:
We are looking for dependable, hard-working individuals to join our team of Material Handlers on 1st shift at our Jefferson Wood Reels facility.
Job Responsibilities:
• Move material between manufacturing areas, to and from storage areas
• Work safely around moving equipment and vehicles
• Use hoists, cranes, or other lifting devices as needed
• Organize and maintain an orderly work area
• Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally move up to 200 pounds or more with a dolly/hand truck
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred
• Must be able to read/write and interpret documents in English
• Able to perform a variety of clerical functions and do basic math
• Strong communication skills and positive attitude
• Reliable transportation to and from the plant each day
• Ability to work overtime as requested (both during the week and on call)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and ability to use computers
