Multi-Color Corporation (MCC) is seeking a Finishing Department Lead on 1st shift in the United States. The role involves supervising the finishing team, overseeing timekeeping and performance reviews, and leading projects to maintain print and seam quality.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience, strong problem-solving skills, and familiarity with Microsoft Office and Radius. A high school diploma or GED is required; experience in lithographic, flexographic, or digital printing is

Responsibilities

• Oversees timekeeping, attendance, performance reviews, training, and development.

• Ability to perform Finishing Operator duties.
• Continuously checks for print and seam quality.
• Removes defective material and splices the roll web back together per the specification.
• Utilizes a ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing procedure.
• Handles rolls and palletizes them to prevent damage.
• Understand basic printing and seam-related defects.
• Record and enter data on designated paperwork and in Radius.

We are currently looking for a Finishing Department Lead to join our team. This is a 1st Shift position.

• Compensation: $25.00/hr - $29.00/hr
• $2,500 sign on bonus

Responsibilities

• Oversees timekeeping, attendance, performance reviews, training, and development
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned
• Ability to perform Finishing Operator duties:
• Continuously checks for print and seam quality.
• Removes defective material and splices the roll web back together per the specification.
• Utilizes a ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing procedure (tools are used at other times as necessary).
• Handles rolls and palletizes them accordingly as to not cause damage to them.
• Must understand basic printing and seam related defects.
• Recording and entering data on designated paperwork as well as in the company operation system (Radius)

• Ability to add and subtract, multiply and divide to figure label counts and conversions
• Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience or in-depth knowledge of lithographic, flexographic, or digital printing preferred
• The physical demands require standing, using hands to feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear.
• This position requires frequent walking.
• Occasionally, employee is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Continuous eye concentration.
