Job summary

Randstad USA in Huntsville, AL is hiring a Material Handler Clerk to perform shipping, receiving and order fulfillment tasks. You will unpack and inspect goods against purchase orders, maintain records, stock materials and prepare shipments.

Typical responsibilities include posting weights and shipping charges, stocking inventory, and assembling kitting packages as needed. This night-shift role runs 4:00 PM to 2:45 AM; physical work required, and Randstad offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Job Description: As a Material Handler clerk, you will performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment process. Stores and distributes materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment. Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. May prepare kitting packages for assembly production. Job may require bending, lifting, standing, walking.
