MELALEUCA INC in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Part-Time Material Handler to store, stock, move materials and load trucks in a warehouse environment. This position does not operate a forklift.

Schedule is Saturday and Sunday 6:30am to 3:00pm. Starting pay is $18.10 per hour, with a $2.00 shift differential based on experience. The role offers a clean, climate-controlled indoor workplace and rewards such as voucher programs and longevity bonuses.

Qualifications

• Lifts up to 70 lbs regularly during shift.
• Reads, writes, and follows established procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication across all levels.
• Performs basic math (add/subtract/multiply/divide) as needed.
• Works in a fast-paced warehouse while maintaining safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Move inventory materials to and from locations to support shipping and distribution.
• Keep accurate stock counts and maintain clean work areas.
• Load customer orders on correct pallets and trailers on the dock.

Description

We have an immediate opening for a Part-Time Material Handlerwho has experience storing, stocking, moving materials, and loading trucks in a warehouse/ shipping environment.

* This position does not operate a forklift.

Schedule: Saturday - Sunday 6:30am - 3:00pm

Responsibilities:

Moves inventory materials to and from the various locations to support shipping/distribution. Keep accurate counts of stock and supplies. Keep all areas behind the lines and in pack area clean and free of hazards. Load customers' orders on correct pallets and on trailers on the dock.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. regularly and consistently over duration of shift
• Ability to pull, stretch, bend, and lift regularly and consistently over duration of shift
• Good written and verbal communication skills across all levels within organization
• Ability to read, write, and follow established operational procedures
• Ability to perform basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, etc.)
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment on a prolonged basis while maintaining safety and quality
