Job summary

Danone North America is hiring a Material Handler in Minster, Ohio. You will operate a forklift, perform picks, unload/load trucks, and use a warehouse management system on a 12-hour shift schedule including nights.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to work overtime on weekends/holidays. Training and safety gear are provided as part of a busy production environment.

Responsibilities

• Work safely with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals.
• Stand for a large portion of a 12-hour shift and walk as needed.

Since 1968, our production facility in Minster, Ohio, has proudly manufactured fresh yogurt. Our mission is to bring health through food to as many people as possible.

At Danone, Manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams. We are currently looking to hire aMaterial Handlerbased inMinster, Ohio!

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Working a 3-2-2 Schedule, which includes weekends and some holidays
• Shift is 5:53pm - 6:00am for Nights (5:53am - 6pm for Days)
• Passing forklift certification and driving a stand-up forklift in either raw material Warehouse or Distribution Cooler
• Working Safely with a high attention to detail and quality
• Computer work including picking product using a warehouse management system and RF scanner
• Unload and load trucks
• Working as a team to achieve challenging production goals
• Working in a fast-paced environment
• Working in a standing position, most of a 12-hr shift
• Wearing a free uniform that includes safety shoes, bump cap, safety glasses, ear plugs, hairnet and beard net

TheMaterial Handler base rate is now 25.35/hr! and night shift employees receive an additional $1.00/hr shift premium. The ideal candidate will have:

• High School diploma or GED (required)
• Open schedule ability. This means you are able to work overtime, weekends and holidays when scheduled.

  • A fast-paced environment

  • Continuous walking or standing
  • Repetitive minimal to moderate lifting (50 lbs)
