Job summary

Danone North America is hiring a High Tech Operator for the Minster, Ohio facility. The role requires safe operation, manual loading of raw materials, and skilled use of production systems during 12-hour night shifts.

You will verify weights, perform quality checks, and collaborate with warehouse, processing, and quality teams to maintain production efficiency. Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication are essential.

Since 1968, our production facility in Minster, Ohio, has proudly manufactured fresh yogurt. Our mission is to bring health through food to as many people as possible.

At Danone, Manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams. We are currently looking to hire a High Tech Operator based in Minster, Ohio!

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Working Safely with a high attention to detail and quality
• Manual tasks such as loading raw materials into the production equipment
• Technical tasks such as operating a computer system and troubleshooting process breakdowns
• Operating production fluid control systems
• Verifying target weights and meet target through the application of statistical process control
• Performing quality checks and accuracy of materials/products
• Consistently communicating with all departments involved in production process (e.g., warehouse, distribution, processing, fruit room, scheduling, quality)
• Documenting inventory of consumed raw materials and supplies
• Cleaning and sanitation tasks (e.g., general housekeeping, disposal of waste material, scraps, etc.)
• Other duties as assigned

The High Tech Operator base rate is now 28.34/hr, increasing to $29.83 after one year! Night shift employees receive an additional $1.00/hr shift premium.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• High School degree or GED (Required)
• Advanced education a plus (Technical, Associates, Bachelors)
• Open schedule ability. This means you are able to work nights, weekends and holidays when scheduled. Our employees work a 3-2-2 schedule

• Excellent communication skills
• High mechanical aptitude
