Job summary

Danone U.S. is seeking a High Tech Operator for our Minster, Ohio production facility. This role supports ongoing manufacturing of yogurt products including Dannon Fruit on the Bottom, Activia, Oikos and Danimals, with focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will perform high-detail manual and technical tasks, operate production fluid control systems, verify weights, and collaborate across departments to ensure on-time, accurate production while maintaining sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED (Required).
• Technical/associate/bachelors education is a plus.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays on a 3-2-2 schedule.
• Strong computer skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Work safely with high attention to detail and quality.
• Load raw materials into production equipment.
• Operate computer system and troubleshoot process breakdowns.
• Operate production fluid control systems.
• Verify target weights and meet targets via SPC.
• Perform quality checks on materials/products.
• Communicate with departments involved in production.
• Document inventory of consumed materials and supplies.
• Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.

At Danone, Manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams. We are currently looking to hire a High Tech Operator based in Minster, Ohio!

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Working Safely with a high attention to detail and quality
• Manual tasks such as loading raw materials into the production equipment
• Technical tasks such as operating a computer system and troubleshooting process breakdowns
• Operating production fluid control systems
• Verifying target weights and meet target through the application of statistical process control
• Performing quality checks and accuracy of materials/products
• Consistently communicating with all departments involved in production process (e.g., warehouse, distribution, processing, fruit room, scheduling, quality)
• Documenting inventory of consumed raw materials and supplies
• Cleaning and sanitation tasks (e.g., general housekeeping, disposal of waste material, scraps, etc.)
• Other duties as assigned

High Tech Operator base rate is now 28.34/hr, increasing to $29.83 after one year! Night shift employees receive an additional $1.00/hr shift premium. About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• High School degree or GED (Required)
• Advanced education a plus (Technical, Associates, Bachelors)
• Open schedule ability. This means you are able to work nights, weekends and holidays when scheduled. Our employees work a 3-2-2 schedule
• Computer Skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• High mechanical aptitude
