Job summary

Novolex in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a warehouse associate to maintain accurate inventory of raw materials, packaging and finished goods on a 12-hour 2-2-3 shift schedule. You will operate a forklift, perform inspections, read specifications, and ensure safety, accuracy, and timely movement of materials.

Basic math and computer skills are required, along with strong organizational and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic math and computer skills are required.
• Forklift certification is required and certification must allow safe forklift operation.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift and read written specifications.
• Good oral and written communication skills and strong organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean, and friendly work environment.
• Accurately control inventory of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods, including requisitioning, receipt, storage, handling, scanning, and shipping.
• Accurately account for all material movements, including in-plant product holds.
• Perform incoming trailer inspections as assigned.
• Read and understand written specifications, procedures, safety information, and packaging diagrams.
• Accurately control inventory throughout the entire process.
• Other duties as necessary.
