Job summary

Responsibilities

• Opens containers using hand tools; counts and weighs materials.
• Loads and unloads materials onto/from pallets, trays, racks, conveyors, and machines by hand.
• Conveys materials using wheelbarrow, hand truck, forklift, electric dolly, elevator, or other devices; stacks or assembles materials; aids machine operators by lifting heavy objects by hand or by use of power hoist.
• Job Description: Loads, unloads, and convey materials within or near plant, yard, or work site, and performs a combination of tasks under specific directions.
• Picking and Kitting, responsible for accurately and efficiently locating, retrieving and systemically issuing material for production use.
• Assist in the management of inventory integrity through cycle count schedule adherence.
• Conveys materials using, hand truck, forklift, or other devices; stacks or assembles materials; aids machine operators by lifting heavy objects by hand or by use of power hoist.

• Has considerable knowledge of the job, including a broad understanding of both general and detailed aspects.

• Resolves routine questions and problems; refers complex issues to higher levels.
• Errors can be detected and corrected but may cause moderate delays or customer dissatisfaction.
• Usually communicate with colleagues within the department and occasionally with outside contacts.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be a US Citizen

• Experience lifting 30 lbs. on a regular basis
• Experience operating a box truck and forklift
