Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a detail-oriented Material Handler 1 for our Coral, Northport, AL facility to ensure accurate and efficient loading of products for shipment. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliability in a fast-paced shipping environment.

Shift starts at 5am, Monday through Friday with potential Saturday overtime. You will locate items, load materials by hand or with carts, secure loads, verify truck assignments, and maintain a clean shipping area while

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in loading and shipping tasks.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Must wear required PPE (gloves, safety glasses, ear plugs, hard hat, cut-resistant sleeves, steel-toe boots).
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs alone and 150 lbs with a partner.
  • Comfortable working in non-climate-controlled environments.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, team-focused Material Handler 1 to help ensure accurate and efficient loading of products for shipment from our Coral, Northport, AL facility! This role empowers you to stay adaptable, build strength, and champion safety every step of the way.

Currently, the shift start time is 5am.

Monday - Friday, some Saturdays or overtime as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Locate and inspect products using shipping manifests
  • Safely load materials onto trucks by hand or with carts/dollies
  • Secure loads with wood and banding
  • Verify correct truck assignments using work orders
  • Maintain clean and organized shipping areas
  • Communicate effectively and follow company procedures
