Johnson Matthey is seeking a Material Handler in the United States to support material flow and inventory management across supply chain, production, and logistics. The role requires accurate weighing, documentation and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure OTIF delivery and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining EH&S compliance and quality control.

Job title: Material Handler

The role:

As a Material Handler, you will help drive our goals by:

• Handling, processing and shipping precious metal materials while maintaining accurate transaction records.
• Supporting material flow across Supply Chain, Production and Logistics to help achieve OTIF delivery targets.
• Performing material weighing, inventory management, stock verification and physical inventory activities.
• Ensuring all shipments are packed, documented and transported in line with safety, security and regulatory requirements.
• Maintaining compliance with EH&S standards, security procedures and quality requirements.
• Assisting with equipment checks, troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives across the operation.

Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:

• Previous hands‑on experience in material handling, logistics, warehousing or a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across different teams.
• Computer literacy and confidence using Microsoft Office and inventory or ERP systems.
• Strong organizational, prioritization and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently, follow procedures and take ownership of daily tasks.
• Commitment to safety, quality, integrity and continuous improvement.
