Job summary

Johnson Matthey in West Whiteland, PA is seeking a Material Controller to safely handle and move precious metal materials, maintain accurate inventory, and support OTIF delivery with logistics teams.

You'll perform routine equipment checks, contribute to continuous improvement, and work across Supply Chain functions in a hybrid role with strong safety and regulatory compliance. Experience in warehousing or manufacturing and proficiency with MS Office and inventory/MRP systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in material handling, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and compliance in day-to-day operations.
• Ability to weigh, record and move materials accurately, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable using Microsoft applications and learning new inventory or MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle, process, weigh and ship precious metal materials in line with EH&S policies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and transact material movements within JM systems.
• Support on-time, in-full delivery of customer orders through coordination with scheduling and logistics.
• Ensure materials are packed, stored and transported in compliance with security and quality standards.
• Carry out routine equipment checks and support basic maintenance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and cross-train across Supply Chain.

• Maintain accurate inventory records and transact material movements within JM systems.
• Support on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery of customer orders through effective coordination with scheduling and logistics teams.
• Ensure materials are packed, stored and transported in compliance with security, regulatory and quality standards.
• Carry out routine equipment checks and support basic maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and cross-train across Supply Chain functions.
